Pygmies - Yali Tribe

First, I made this post for LIA assignment so this post 100% english. I want to talk about Pygmies - Yali Tribe.

Yali Tribe description

One of the tribes in Papua New Guinea, is Yali Tribe. They discovered around 1970s. They live in the forests of the highlands, Jayawijaya Mountain. The Yali are officiallya recognised as pygmies, with men standing at just 150cm tall. Yali Tribe is most likely the smallest of Papuan nation, because that not all the nations living in New Guinea (including Irian Jaya) have yet been discovered. And,Yali Tribe is known for its cannibalistic practice. Papuan tribes, different in appearance and language, have a similar way of life. They are all polygamist and conduct rituals for important occasions. Bit scary, right?

Story of cannibalism

Yali Tribe belonged to the most dreaded cannibals of the western part of the New Guinea Island (Irian Jaya). Also, Yalis couldn't visit each other, so every valley or every region of Yali Tribe developed in the different way. People from the neighboring villages were not only killed for revenge, sometimes just for meat...

Highland

Yali Tribe lives in very steep, but very beautiful highlands in west Papua. Yalis member lives 2500 - 2000m above the sea level. There are 2 ways to reach them. First, you can trekking, but also very difficult trek. This several day long trek starts at Wamena (18000m). The trek is so difficult because the Papuans mountain are very rugged and steep. Second, the alternative is a plane. To see the Yalis you flew in to see, you will have to follow them to their villages, which lie in the mountain. The fantastic sceneries which will be offered as a reward for this effort, will remain in your memories.

Yali Tribe People and Culture

Yalis people divided into two big groups, Yali Highland and Yali Lowland.

Yali Highland, live in round huts build from cut planks and roofs made of pandan leaves. Women and men live separately. Women have their own houses, men in community houses (honai). Men wear traditional big "rattan" skirts and kotekas. Women wear traditional small and short skirts made of grass.

Yali Lowland, this members are significantly different from highland Yali. Men just wear kotekas. Women dont wear small four-layer skrits, but long skirts made of grass. Lowland Yali almost live in isolation and are thus affected by outside influence only to a very small degree.

Sejarah Klub Favorit gue

Lo udah tau kan klub idola gue? yaitu Manchester United, julukannya Red Devils. Dan lagi lagi menurut gue MU lah klub terbaik di dunia (cieee) Langsung aja gue kasih tau sejarah awalnya.....

Dibentuk sebagai Newton Heath L&YR F.C. pada 1878 sebagai tim sepak bola depot Perusahaan Kereta Api Lancashire dan Yorkshire Railway di Newton Heath, namanya berganti menjadi Manchester United pada 1902. Tim pertama kali dibentuk dengan nama Newton Heath Lancashire and Yorkshire Railwaiy F.C. pada 1878 sebagai tim karya Lancashire dan Yorkshire, stasiun kereta api di Newton Heath. Kaos tim berwarna hijau - emas. Mereka bermain di sebuah lapangan kecil di North Road, dekat stasiun kereta api Piccadilly Manchester selama lima belas tahun, sebelum pindah ke Bank Street di kota dekat Claytonpada 1893. Tim sudah memasuki kompetisi sepak bola tahun sebelumnya dan mulai memutuskan hubungannya dengan stasiun kereta api, menjadi perusahaan mandiri, mengangkat seorang sekretaris perkumpulan dan pengedropan "L&YR" dari nama mereka untuk menjadi Newton Heath F.C saja.. Dulu ini lambangnya  

Masih hijau-kuning tuh warna dasar timnya. Kalo gasalah tahun 1902, Newton Heath hampir bangkrut jadi akhirnya dibeli sama J.H Davies. Trus ni Diadakan rapat untuk mengganti nama perkumpulan. Manchester Central dan Manchester Celtic adalah nama yang diusulkan, sebelum Louis Rocca, seorang imigran muda asal Italia, berkata "Tuan-tuan, mengapa kita tidak menggunakan nama Manchester United?" Nama ditetapkan dan Manchester United secara resmi eksis mulai 26 April 1902. Davies juga memutuskan untuk mengganti warna tim dan terpilihlah warna merah dan putih sebagai warna tim Manchester United. Dan jadi berubah gini 

Gambar kapal layar menggambarkan kota Manchester, yaitu kota pelabuhan. Ini masih logo awal lho, blm berevolusi sampe kayak sekarang.

Jadi inilah awal sejarah MU dari Newton Heath berubah menjadi Manchester United. Mungkin di tulisan gue selanjutnya, akan gue jelasin sejarah lanjutannya. (Cont)

Godfather Legacy

Kali ini gue mau ngepost sesuatu nih....yaitu GODFATHER. Sebelum gue kenalin lebih baik gue jelasin sinopsisnya, pake b.inggris yaa

Sinopsis tadi lagilagi gue ambil dari godfather.wikia.com disini lo bisa nyari segala info tentang Godfather. Dijamin lengkap dan lo bakal ketagihan. Selanjutnya gue mau ceritain salah satu tokoh utamanya yaitu Michael Corleone (pemeran dlm filmnya yaitu Al Pacino).

Don Michael Corleone, si anaknya kepala Mafia yaitu Don Vito Corleone. Jadi gelar "Don" adalah gelar terhormat untuk kepala keluarga Mafia...... Jadi penerusnya Vito ya si Michael. Si Michael ini anak ke 3 dari 4 bersaudara dan doi paling disayang nih sama Vito. Dan dalam keluarga Mafianya yaitu, Corleone Family ialah anggota terkuat. Baik sebagai Don maupun sebagai bawahan. Ia juga seorang yg cerdas dan mampu tetap tenang walau dlm keadaan darurat.

Yaa mungkin cuma segitu post gue kali ini karena gue mau siapin bahan buat post post yang lain, jadi tunggu aja post yang akan datang.....

Karena ini post pertama...hmm ane bingung mau ngomong apa-_- Ane cuma seseorang yang teradiktif dengan The Godfather! Novel dan Film masterpiece tuh gan..... Lu mesti baca ceritanya.....godfather.wikia.com


Dan juga ane seorang Red Army, atau fans MU laah. Ya salah satu tim terbaik di dunia. Cukup dengan loyalitas, itu pesen gue
